January 22, 2022 Update

A lot has transpired since the last post. I bought a Garmin Forerunner 245, a running pod and Body Take Back (BTB) with Ashley Randall during the Black Friday sales over Thanksgiving. LOVE the Garmin! I joined a 5k training on the Garmin with Jeff Galloway. I'm happy to announce that today I graduated to running 30 seconds at 5.2mph! This is a HUGE accomplishment for me. I received my bike trainer yesterday as well as the Garmin Speed and Cadence monitors. I set them up yesterday and today I biked my first 4 miles. LOVE it!! I have a call scheduled with Ashley Randall for Monday, January 24th and I'm so excited to start BTB in the next week or so.


Other accomplishments include eating healthy and setting up my year calendar. A thank you to Jesse Itzler for his idea of a big calendar. I'm a visual person, so I love to see things in totality and also appreciate color coding. I document the workout, healthy eating, steps per day and miles walked/run each day. My goal each month is to have 10,000 steps per day average by the end of each month. January for example will be to hit 310,000 steps by the end of the day on the 32st. February will be 280,000 and etc. I also have a goal of 52 5k (3.1 miles) for the year and a goal of at least 1 mile per day. I'm in a group that's aiming for 2022 miles this year, so my 1 mile per day will paltry compared to 2022. I do not have a biking goal other than the Garmin goals.



29029 Everesting training begins 20 weeks out from the event. Since I'll be in October, our training guide will come out June 2, 2022. You'll eventually see on the first full week in June a different color pattern due to the training plan.
